I know that you all are waiting for the next season of the series, but for that you will have to wait a bit, probably until next year. Well, as for now the creator of the show is busy with something else. Yes, he is busy looking for new faces, for his new show ‘True Beauty’. For the same he has joined hands with another star, whose concepts of beauty are completely different from him. And, here I am talking about Ashton Kutcher, Hollywood actor, director and the creator of this series and Tyra Banks, the creator of the ‘America’s Next Top Model’. The two stars are famous for their search of beauty, but in their completely different ways. Their ways I may not tell you, as you guys are very well aware of what I am talking about.

Anyways, latest with the two is that they both have teamed up together and have decided to merge their capabilities in order to rename the concept of beauty. Their medium in order to do so is obviously a new television show called ‘True Beauty’. In this new show they will not only be judging people for their outer appearances, but also for inner beauty. The contestants will be judged through situations and circumstances that require them to make moral decisions. They will also be tested and retested through the challenges that will be thrown on them. They will further have to go through photo shoots and tests like respecting their elders. The judges will evaluate them on these basis. At the end of each episode a contestant will be eliminated.

Well, to me it sounds like nothing new. It just seems like they are trying to merge the two hit series and making a new one out of it. But, I really still want to watch the series and see how they put both the things together. I just hope that the series hit the screens soon.

Well, rumors are predicting that ‘Beauty and the Geek’ may return to TV once again. Most probably, it’d not return on The CW network, but on some another network. Series is produced by Ashton Kutcher, an actor as well as producer. One of my friends is very much crazy for him, she loves him. So, we started watching ‘Beauty and the Geek’, just because of her love for Ashton. She insisted us to watch the Reality TV show, being produced by his crush (she’ll be glad to read this post).

Initially, there was a different reason to watch it, which I’ve already discussed about, but later we watched ‘Beauty and the Geek’, because of its very distinct challenges and its being only one of its kind. It remained my favorite Reality TV show throughout its’ five seasons long run. Currently, series is on hiatus after 5 successive seasons.

Although, no one never announced officially that ‘Beauty and the Geek’ is cancelled, but no statements are given about its retrieval. Actually, the network has no intentions to order some more episodes of ‘Beauty and the Geek’. Now, the question is that if The CW will not pick it up, which network will take it?

Fox 21, the same network which produces ‘Beauty’ with Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst, co chairman says that “”We’re in conversations about finding another home for it and producing new episodes,” Mr. Newman said. “And I think that’s probably likely to happen soon.”

I’m not sure which Network will green-light the ‘Beauty and the Geek’ episodes . It’d not be surprising if it returns to Fox 21, or CBS or NBC… well, many options are available. What’re your speculations… mine is CBS or FOX 21…. Let’s see what happens.

For me, the good thing is that ‘Beauty and the Geek’ is returning with another season. Network doesn’t matter….. I’ll love it, despite caring about which network it’ll be aired on!

For me, ‘Beauty and the Geek‘ is not just an entertainer, in fact an idea generator. It’s not funny; you can really get great ideas for your hang outs and parties. These challenges had put life in the show.

Who the heck says that fifth season was not so happening and it was an average. I found the fifth season the most exciting. In this season, there were really amazing and unique challenges. At some places I felt like, Oh please, let me play this thing. Especially, in the first episode of the season, where gals and guys were in different teams, and beauties had to get as many phone numbers as they can from guys in a bar, but with a fake looks. Somebody got a fake complexion and somebody got appearance like a fat woman. If you are gonna plan girls’ night out then do try this theme, Lol.

You know, I laughed the most upon the idea of plumbing and charming Leticia won this challenge. Great! I didn’t know that a model can have brains for plumbing.

Besides this, the Salsa Dancing in fourth season was fantastic. I am a huge Salsa fan and that’s why ‘Viva Mexico’ was the special episode from that season for me. Yeah, but moves were a little imperfect, anyways, that all was for fun.

Geek’s makeover in ‘From Geek to Chic‘ was also a worthy idea, but I liked hot firemen more, in ‘Flame Broiled Chick’. They used very innovative and brilliant ideas in every episode of the fifth season. It seems that creators must be trying hard to be naughty with the contestants.

You know, getting selected in this show for even a celebrity was pretty tough. I read about Leticia’s selection somewhere. It said that she was first selected through her ‘my space‘ profile, after which she had to submit her ten minute long video and then she was interviewed by actor/producer Ashton Kutcher several times. After this, she stayed in a hotel in Los Angeles for one week and there she received the news that she was through.

Well, in the end I must say that these beauties had some brains, and all the intellectuals had the x-factor. It’s a rocking show and I am missing that fun.

It has been about four months now, since the fifth season finale of ‘Beauty and the Geek‘. I loved this reality show and I am truly missing it. If anybody knows something, whether the sixth season is coming or not then do drop a line. Hey! I think it will be unfair if now Ashton Kutcher will not bring it again. He has made us the addicts of this show. I’ve watched all the seasons and it rocked. I don’t think any other reality show could have kicked off this much gossip as this show did. While this show remains on screen, nobody talks about any other show.

I read a few of reviews which say that major changes brought in the fourth and fifth season caused the fall in ratings and that’s why the fifth season might be declared as the last season. Well, till now no such announcement has been made by the creators, so I can plea for one more season.

Oh please! Tell Ashton to ignore such stupid reviews. After all change is the rule of the universe and if he had to keep all the seasons closely similar then there was no requirement for four more seasons, one season was enough. Nonetheless, the news about something fresh in the coming season prompts us to watch that. At least, I liked both fourth and fifth season and the reason was the change of pattern.

Like, in the season four, a male beauty and a female geek was introduced, but all the other pairs remained the same. This season also contained a few extra episodes in comparison to the previous ones.

Then, in fifth season, in initial episodes, the group of beauties competed against the group of geeks and later on it returned to the old format, it was rather more interesting! But, I found these three episodes as the spice of this season. I am glad that Tommy and Amanda won, although Amber tried many cunning tricks to prevent elimination even by flirting with Tommy. It’s fun, watching beauties fabricating strategies against intellects. The season six is must…….I wish, I’ll get it.

You are still stuck into gossip about Ashton’s beard? Common don’t behave like a knucklehead! What difference does it make, whether he grew his facial hair for religious reasons or for his role in ‘What Happens in Vegas’? But still, let me pacify your curiosity. Now it’s confirmed that it’s for Jewish and Kabbalah holiday called Lag Ba’Omer. I hope now it’s enough to cool you down.

Now let’s talk about the better side of the executive producer of ‘Beauty and the Geek’. Ashton, recently participated, in star studded, ‘Chrysalis‘ Butterfly Ball’ event to do some charity, along with wife, Demi Moore. Chrysalis is a Los Angeles based organization, which helps homeless people in getting homes and jobs, and teaches them to retain a decent standard of living.

Anyhow, I was just concerned about, what he is planning for the sixth season. I searched a lot but didn’t find anything. But yes, found some interesting facts about Kutcher. Do you know? This privileged guy was not so privileged in his childhood. His parents were factory workers and he has a twin brother, who had an emergency heart transplant at the age of thirteen and till his teen age he remained in depression due to his ailment and tried to commit suicide even, which made it uncomfortable for Ashton to stay home for long, and to stay away he did many odd jobs like Carpentary, hay-baling and livestock castration. In anticipation of finding some cure for his brother, he joined Biochemical engineering in University of Lowa , until he was discovered by a talent scout named ‘The Airliner‘ at a bar and participated in ‘Fresh Face of Lowa’ Modelling competition.

Now you must be thinking that after leading such a tough life how he gets wacky and humorous concepts for his reality shows like ‘Punk’d‘ and ‘Beauty and the Geek’. So, I must inform you that he was the bad boy in university. He was suspended from his apartment in university, for being wild and noisy. He was a weed smoker and confesses that many a times he woke up in the morning, not knowing what happened last night. At that time he also worked as a floor sweeper and donated his blood many times for money to meet the end.

You know, like a drop of water, after going through many different stages, becomes a precious pearl, I think this man is just like that. In February of 2008, Ashton turned thirty and Demi Moore threw a big party for her guy. After dinner, he delivered a very sweet speech. He said that anyone who had been thinking about giving a gift should pass it on to someone in need instead.

Great guy! Look! How time changes………….one’s life.

I least like watching something on DVDs, and downloading is the most convenient way for me. Luckily, I got to know about this site from my friend Mike, his talks about the fifth season prompted me as well to have a look. So finally I am here.

The fifth season was great. Amanda Corey and Tommy Severo won the title in the end. I think, the major credit goes to Tommy, as Amanda has just two wins in her pocket, and that too due to Tommy’s assistance. They both won together in the challenges ‘Building a Sled’ and ‘Former Cast Members Hunt in LA’. Tommy individually won ‘Love Hotline‘ and ‘Geek Firefighter’ in fourth and seventh weeks respectively. ‘Snow bound’ episode actually dropped the winning crown in couple’s pocket, with third win in entire season.

Haven’t got anything about the sixth season yet, whether it’s coming or not, but I wish it to be different than the entire show. In fact when this reality show premiered, I thought that there would be a competition between guys and gals onwards instead of dividing them into couples later on. This division only resulted into making the show entirely the gossipians’ cup of tea. We just encountered romances and jealousies. But I suppose if it had been the competition between boys and girls for the entire season, then we would’ve seen hard core strategy makings over there. What do you say?

Well, I don’t say that the original concept was bad, even I loved the season and that’s why I am looking for its episodes. I am just expecting a little more from my favorite show. Rest depends upon the creators that what new they have in their pockets!

Right now, I have just two interesting things in my life, one is gossip about the stars after the season five, their versions, and the second thing is its episodes over here.
